The above is from an article about steel-tubed bikes in an '88? issue of Bicycling (I didn't notice the exact issue when I scanned so I'll update it later). Now, I don't know what kind of practical information can be gleaned from the charts, but I find it kinda cool just as a 'snapshot' of some of the steel tubesets that were available back in the day. And the mysterious "Tange Aero" is still missing...
